My base station and cameras were working perfectly. I was notified the arlo app had an upgrade on the play store.
I proceeded to complete the upgrade to the arlo app. once completed the new arlo app would not detect the base and cameras.

Try logging out and back in. The app is simply a window into the system so really has little to do with how the system is configured which is stored on the servers and sent to your base and cameras. Make sure you're using the correct credentials.
