“Someone mentioned that you can add this 3500 as a second base, somewhere closer to the out side cameras to have a better signal”
I’m currently using the 4500 base and this 3500 came with another purchase, so if it’s possible to boost the signal I would like to do so .......
So if anyone has the details on how this is done PLEASE forward a link or directions.
Thank You

It can't be used to boost the signal.  But you can deploy it as a second base station that is closer to the cameras that have poor coverage.

To do that you do need to get ethernet from the router to the base.  If that's not practical, you can instead use a pair of powerline networking gadgets.

For example:

Product FAQ: Powerline Adapters | Answer | NETGEAR Support

That FAQ is not 100 per cent reliable – it is misleading on power strips and extension cords – but it explains the technology.

Other brands exist.
