Shadows causing the system to show motion and record. My porch in the afternoon is 1/2 sun and 1/2 in a shadow. The contrast is causing the system to start recording. Went off 20 times today. Had to disarm the system. Help!

Just 20 times?? That's not a knife! (Crocodile Dundee reference.)
That really isn't too bad by many estimates but in any case reduce the camera's motion sensitivity in your modes and rules. The default is 80 - I'd suggest 75 and then maybe 70.

The sun and shadows trip my cameras every few minutes. This is ridiculous. I’m already down to 70%. What a piece of crap system. Dear crooks, please don’t rob me on a sunny day since I have to shut down the cameras!!!!🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

If you can, point the camera away from the sun and shadows. Reposition the camera to achieve this.
If not then use a custom mode to reduce the detection sensitivity for the false detections and use the schedule to set that mode during the period it occurs.
Alternatively take it all back and get a refund.

What are folks doing for this? My camera is going to be pulled off my house and thrown as all it does is trigger record and I get 13 secong videos every 30 seconds. I have my sensitivity on 1 and still a PITA.

Can you confirm that you are altering the motion sensitivity in the camera’s rule for the running mode?
