This issue has come up before. I have switched solar panels, cameras, batteries, etc. around and occasionally receive message: "Unable to charge battery"
....WHY? What is causing this?

I have no technical answer but my suspicion is that something about the contacts causes this. Usually reseating the connection fixes this although if moisture has gotten into the connection you may have to dry things out first.
