First question usu asked is How much recording or live viewing are you doing.??
Spec use is 5 min per day, my batteries run a about 2 1/2 months.

I assume that you charged them before installation. They don't usually arrive fully charged.
I don't know if current technology still has the "settling in" phenomenon, but older batteries took a while to reach full capacity.
