Pro 2 not synching with base station

I’ve tried everything to sync my brand new Arlo Pro 2 cameras with the base station and nothing seems to work. The base station was literally millimeters from the cameras (one at a time) and whilst the base station was blinking blue along with the cameras they never synched. The user manuals and support articles were no help, so hoping to ask the community for some answers.

Make sure its only a quick press on the base sync button ( don't hold ) and then the cameras ( one at a time )
