- I have 4 Pro 2 cameras, 2 on solar panels 2 on AC power. They are no longer recording motion events. Firmware is up to date, created new full screen detection zones, deleted the previous ones, power cycled the cameras, and they're still not recording any motion, but do record when detecting audio. I don't have a subscription plan as the cameras don't require them for just local recording to the base station.
What is the problem.

The two pro2 cameras that are solar powered require a subscription to use the activity zone feature. For these delete the activity zones. Check the camera motion test under the camera settings menu.
The pro2 cameras that are Ac powered should allow activity zones to work so confirm that they also detect motion using the test utility as above. Note that you will need to remove activity zones to correctly perform the motion test.
If the camera motion test utility fails you can remove the camera battery for 10sec to reset the cameras.
The pro2 Cameras came with 7days free cloud storage so prove this by making a manual recording to see if it shows up in the library.
The Base station local storage is a backup to the cloud and not available to the arlo app unless you have a arlo smart hub.
