Pro 2 camera detecting motion and sending notification but not recording

Hi I have a Pro 2 that is connected to my system of 5 cameras and a door bell. 4 of the cameras are just standard Arlo’s and I have the 1 Arlo 2. It is running H8 Firmware and the other cameras are running H6. In the setting when I go to mode and edit settings I am not given the option for this camera to record. It is greyed out and not able to be selected. I have removed the device, reinstalled it, rebooted my system modified every setting and I am unable to get it to record only alert. I have checked the library filters but in the settings I am just unable to select record. Even if I try set up a rule in settings off another camera to then get this one to record if triggered it will not allow me to select record. I have taken batteries out, and device is connected to a solar panel. Is anyone else experiencing this? What more can I try???

The free plan allows for 5 cameras in your account to be active. I believe adding a single camera subscription for the doorbell would allow all of your original cameras to work as normal as well as getting cloud recordings for the doorbell.

Thanks do you know if this is a new change as we have had all 6 devices for over 12 months now. Problem has only just been noticed in the last week or so.

Is it possible that you had the trial subscription for the doorbell that has now expired? The doorbell has always required a subscription for cloud recordings as has any camera newer than the Pro 2 (since 2018)..
