Bought the 2 camera kit a few days ago, installed no problem, we recently has a power cut and following re supply the 2 cameras would not re connect, when viewing the cameras on the APP both showed no internet connection and no live feed, even though our broadand has re started, to get the cameras to reconnect I had to turn the base unit off and back on again, surely the cameras should automatically reconnct after a power cut ?

any thoughts.

Thanks

How long was it from when you noticed it not working after the mains power was restored?

I recall reading somewhere here that if the router takes a while to boot up and establish the connection, the arlo base will not connect and needs a reboot after the modem reconnects.
There might be an auto reconnect timeout made by the base station but don’t recall it ever mentioned. Mine stays dead after a mains outage until it is manually rebooted.

If you’re prone to outages then maybe think of using a UPS to power both base and modem router.
