I’m planning to buy a 2nd camera to use in a different location (I just have one base station in my current location.
Do I need a second base station for the new location? Or, I can sync the camera with my current base station and take it to the new location without a base station. Is it possible?
Thank you!

The cameras talk to the base station using a closed wifi signal so you need a base for each location along with internet access.

"Different location" could mean a building some miles away or the other side of the backyard.
As @Dannybear says, the former needs another hub. The latter may not, if the camera's "different location" is within wifi range of the existing hub.
