I keep reading conflicting reports whether you can use the ARLO2 camera outdoors with direct power.
I am already a user but I was hoping to purchase ARLO2 system for my daughter, installing one of the cameras at the front entrance, utilising batteries at the front entrance would result depletion fairly quickly, hence why I would prefer direct power option.
Is this possible with the ARLO 2 system?
Will the camera be weather proof sealed with the direct power cable option?
Thanks for any assistance.

As long as you use the outdoor power supply the camera remains weather-sealed due to the specific seal on the cable to where it connects to the camera.
