Outdoor power adapter (VMA4700) Alternatives?

Hi everyone.

Now that the Outdoor power adapter (VMA4700) has had a recall.

What other options are out there? Other than modding the port, I have seen some threads that people have siliconned the USB port to make it weatherproof, or buy an enclosure to put their arlo pro's in and have a normal 9V charger.

Or do we just wait for netgear to release another outdoor weather proof charging cable.

Continuing the discussion on the power supply recall........Since you can still purchase weather proof supply cables with USB terminations, does anyone know what power supply would be required to use to power the camera. there are loads of power adaptors avialable.
