Notifications are not working

For a week now there have been no videos and no notifications on all 3 of my cameras. I am able to watch live video from all the cameras. The mode is set to Armed (all cameras operating). I’ve checked the mode and all of the cameras are as they were, set to detect motion and send me notifications.
Reset all and re-setup all cameras, one of the 3 gives notifications… As i’m paying your super expensive subscription i expect that stuff to work properly…. Please help.

This is a user-to-user forum, not Arlo paid support.  I don't work for Arlo... You can get phone support using the support center in the app.

 

Steps that would help sort out your problem include:

  • seeing if you can make a manual recording while livestreaming one of the problem cameras
  • running the motion detection test on the problem cameras

Can you confirm that these are Pro 2 cameras?

Also, do you see "Library" in the app menu?  Or do you see "Feed" and "Dashboard" instead?

Ohhh sh!t,

Sorry and thank you for the answer. Yes, and manual recording works, but the motion detection is not triggered. The app says, devices, library. Thank you for your kind and quick answer, I was sure I was on the paid support page. Sorry.

Then the subscription is in place.

 

Have you checked that the cameras are armed?

Armed and should notify and record on anything (no filter set like animals or else, should record and notify on anythimg).

You might check the threshold - several folks have reported that their thresholds were somehow changed from the default 80 down to 50.  I've seen that myself with some of my cameras.
