Just bought Arlo Pro 2 I want the features of being plugged in so I am going to run a wire from my front door through the attic and into the garage, but the cord they give you is not long enough and I can’t find if they sell a longer one.
Does arlo sell a longer cord?
Can I use a 3rd party cord and not affect my warranty or function of camera?
The part of the cord that plugs into the camera, is it safe from the weather no matter what type of cord you use?

The outdoor solar panel has a seal on the USB connector that stops water getting into the camera.
If you use longer USB cable the voltage drop could be too much and cause issues with the camera.

If the camera is outdoors, you'll need a proper connector to seal the USB power socket. It appears the outdoor power adapter with 8' cable has recently been recalled. Not sure when a new one will come in. You could either then run an extension lead or wire in a new electrical outlet in your attic space for the outdoor power adapter to plug into

If you use the solar panel do you get the 3 second look back?

No, not enough power from the panel during the day and certainly not at night.
