Need help. Has anyone successfully glued power cables to brick? I have a few short runs

I don't want to use mechanical fasteners. I have power cables from the Arlo 2 to various light fixtures. The surface is brick and mostly mortar joints. I've tried the usual suspects. hot glue, liquid nails, gorilla glue, etc.  Has anyone cracked this code?  Thanks for the help.
