The very basic need for other family members, but the account owner, is solely to be able activate and deactivate the videoalarm system when entering or leaving the house. As I understand it the only way to allow this for the other the family members is to give them full access to the system including camera views and all settings which is not what you normally want.

Have I misunderstood the manual and if so how can this be configured?

Please confirm,

Best,

Sten

Don't think you can...

limited access allows;

Friends without access rights can do the following:

  • Play and view library content
  • View live footage
  • Zoom and drag video footage
  • Control brightness

Thanks again Tom,

Pity if not!

How does the children get in when coming home after school and the system is activated?

When sending an invitation to a person for grant access you can select access to each of the installed cameras separately but there is also another symbol included in the limited functionality choice.

Isn't this where you can select the site/location and to activate and deactivate the alarm?
