model VMB4000r3, firmware 1.16.1.3_3394_1a608c1; cameras firmware 1.125.14.0.34_1189
I have recently started receiving recordings as short as 00:00 and 00:02. I do see some motion but the recording stops before the motion is over. Example: dog trotting across camera view but recording stops before dog exits area.

Is LiveStreaming working normally? It could potentially be a dropped connection.
My own Pro2s have gone the other direction - a couple of times I've seen very long recordings with no apparent motion.

LiveStreaming is working fine. I do not see any problem with the connection.

Try changing the rule to a fixed duration (as a test), and see if it always records for the amount of time you've set.

@StephenB I changed it to record for 15 seconds. It recorded for 6 seconds today.

I just received another recording of only two seconds. It’s still set for a fixed time of 15 seconds to be recorded.

You might check the recording for potential corruption - pixelation or obvious skipped frames is one clue. Another is if the audio plays for longer than the video.
Though you probably should contact support on this. https://www.arlo.com/en-us/support/contact.aspx

I have the same issues mate. I have started a case with support but can't seem to update information with them either (500 error...?). Only the 1 camera is doing it and only records for 0.00.
How long has yours been doing it?
I've tried everything to fix it from removing the cameras and fully resetting the hub etc. all firmwafre is current, battery us fine. out of options.
