Is there only one base station model now being sold? And is the firmware stable now?

I am interested in purchasing an Arlo. Is there only one model base station? Also I read a post where the vmb4000 forward isn't working.

I don't want to spend so much money on a system that isn't working right and also buy an old model.

Could use a little guidance.

As to bases, the 4000 is still sold along with the 4500... they are for the Pro, Pro 2

( 4500 looks like the new Ultra base )

As to working, they are the same with the newer 4500 having one led and one usb port.

The Ultra base or Smarthub is the model 5000. 

All for me run good, the newest base, Smart Hub will run the Ultra cam and the older cameras too ( you can not run an Ultra camera on the older bases )
