Is there any way for ARLO 2 cameras to store footage during a Wifi outage?

It seems like a burglar could simply cut my power to my home knowing that my wifi would go down and the cameras would cease to function or save recordings. More realistically, I live in a Hurricane prone area. Several times per year we have our power go down for multiple days and often we have to vacate for days. That is a dream for looters especially if they recognize the ARLO cameras. Thoughts?

I would strongly suggest that you purchase a good-sized UPS that your modem, router and base all plug into. Since you may not have power for a few days, consider a UPS that is as large as your budget can absorb. I use a 750VA unit that will last many hours but probably not a day.
Also, make sure you have a USB thumb drive inserted and configured for local storage on your base so you have backup videos if the Internet is also cut.
