Is Base Station required for Pro 2?

Hi,
Do i need base station to work together with pro 2 or the camera can work directly with the house wifi ?

Arlo Pro and Pro2 require the base station.  The base station connects to the internet via an ethernet connection and the cameras connect to the base station via a private wireless connection.  Arlo has some other cameras (like the Arlo Q) that connect via your wireless network .
