I am disappointed about cvr and direct recording

After buying this camera, I found out so many negative side of arlo. I have 2 disappointing reasons why I wouldn’t buy another arlo products or recommend this product to my friends and family, unless these 2 features are allow: 1. Cvr should be a free feature if it can record directly into the base station. 2. I wish arlo allows direct recording to base station in case of internet problem.

One can argue the CVR issue although it could eat up your USB drive space quickly. Whether that's important would be up to the individual. The current method has no limitation on space so that's what you're paying for.

The Pro bases already support direct recording of motion events onto a USB drive for backup purposes when the Internet conection is lost. In addition, it's also useful for keeping recordings after they're migrated off according to your plan, 7 days for the free one.
