How versatile is arlo

I would like to buy Arlo Pro 2 but I need to know if it will meet my needs. I need to place camera 250 ft away from house, record locally, and have night vision. Is Arlo for me?

Prob not....

tho max range is listed as 300ft, like wifi, it depends on what the signal goes thru.

ln real world, max usable range is prob 150 ft or less.

Also Arlo do not record locally, it is cloud base.
