I have a maid and dog sitter that enter my home on a daily basis. Is there a way to set up the Arlo Pro2 system to recognize their cell phones in the geo fencing mode so the system does not send alert notifications?

Not while geofencing is not working. Better to set up a schedule if they come and stay for a consistent time. Or, let them set off the system and then disarm it so you don’t get flooded with notifications. I use the app ifttt to make Arlo button widgets on my iphone today page, one for “arm” and one for “disarm”. Makes it super easy and fast to disarm on the first alert without opening the Arlo app.
PS. Even if geofencing was working I doubt you would want them to have it. And you might hear complaints of lack of privacy due to location tracking and battery drain, etc. You would have their location 24/7.
