How is the Arlo Pro 2 response time when motion is detected?

I believe one of the hold backs on purchasing the Arlo in the past was the detection in motion and when it starts recording video. Has this potential issue been resolved or looked at?

On battery, it's the same due to the same cloud issues. AC powered gives you the 3 second look back feature.
