So how does the VMA outdoor security mount fasten to the Arlo Pro camera? It looks like it screws into the bottom, but there is nothing there to accept the screw.....

Hi RLadely,
The security mount should have a silver threaded piece of metal sticking out which also has a fancy nut attached. This then connects to the threaded hole at the back of the camera. The fancy nut is used to lock down the camera to the thread so it doesn't rock from side to side.
