Hi,
I have just bought a Arlo Pro 2 and have enabled geofencing on my mobile devise and on my wifes divice too.
My prolem is, that the camera is armed and starts detecting movements when I leave home, even when my wife is home. Is it possible to have more than one mobile device enabled to geofencing. At the moment my Primary device seames to controle geofencing.

Is your wife's phone an iPhone?

The short answer is yes. My wife and I have iPhones and use geofencing on multiple systems in multiple locations. However, I believe for geofencing to know the location of the phone, the Arlo app must be running in the background and the user must be signed in. At least that is my empirical experience. If my wife isn’t logged into Arlo and I leave, the system starts firing off motion events.
Somewhat peripherally related to this is my experience with modes. I have my most extensive system set up with two based units and multiple cameras on each. I have exterior cameras on one base unit and interior cameras the other. I set both up for geofencing. I used “Armed” as my away rule and for my outdoor cameras I use “Schedule” as my home rule. In the Schedule, I disarm the cameras during the day and arm them after a certain hour at night when I’m unlikely to be working outside the home. This ability to link geofencing and schedule together with the flexibility of rules, is really powerful and industry leading IMHO. And using multiple base units can add additional flexibility in rules for groups of cameras.
Also related to this. I wish Arlo had a “snooze” feature (like a Ring just added) which would allow me to disarm the cameras for a set period of time and then automatically rearm the system as normal. It would help when geofencing isn’t working properly, when the sun and clouds are conspiring to trigger endless false alarms and when there is infrequent desired activity in the range of the cameras triggering (effectively) false alarms.
