So we are now well into October and while I can now finally log onto my new Arlo App it has no idea about my cameras - and given I’m in Australia and Cameras are in my New York home it is not very easy to set them all up again - does anyone know when these guys are going to sort this mess out??

You don't need to set them up again - it's just an app update. Others have reported this but I haven't heard of a solution. Try rebooting the phone and reinstalling the app. Make sure the legacy (old) app is uninstalled. If nothing else, use a browser - you can use a mobile browser if set to use the desktop version. Live view won't work due to lack of Flash but everything else will.
