I'm considering the purchase of the Pro 2. It has all the features I'm looking for, but I'm unclear about motion detection.
I want a wireless outdoor camera that detects motion. Does the camera need to be wired in order for motion detection to work?
Thanks

On the Pro2 the cameras use a PIR device ( detect infrared, much like a floodlight outdoor sensor ) .
It does not need to be wired ac to work ( self contained battery ) but if it is you get a "3 sec lookback" feature as it is recording all the time and adds the prev 3 secs to the triggered file.
Morse is faster than texting!
