Does not detect motion at 15 ft with Arlo Pro 2

I’m not getting any motion detection at 15 feet - 23 feet. Isn’t the Arlo Pro 2 suppose to detect motion at up to 23 feet?

This is disappointing as the best spot for the camera has sight if my door at 15.5 feet (hypotenuse from ceiling to ground at front door; 14’ x 7’).

If the camera is pointing at the wanted motion head on then this could be why the distance is shorter than expected. Try moving across the FOV to see if the distance increases.
