Does The Pro 2 Look Back Only Work Indoors & Why?

Does look back work outdoors if used with an arlo outdoor power cable?   If only indoors, why?

The website says this....

3-second Look Back

Capture activity 3 seconds before a triggered event so you’ll always know what happened, from start to finish. Available when plugged in and used indoors.

Location has nothing to do with it other than an outdoor camera needs an outdoor-rated power supply and cable. For the 3 second lookback feature to work, the camera simply needs to be on AC power.

I suspect it says that because look-back requires AC power and the original AC power adapter was deemed unsafe for outdoor use and recalled.  There is a new AC adapter that is suitable for outdoor use.
