Does Arlo Pro 2 Camera require an upgraded account?

Will the Arlo Pro 2 plugged in with the power cable set to record “motion only” NOT 24/7 require a upgraded account?
Also can you create zones when plugged in and set up to record motion only?

Upgrades are for more than 5 cameras, longer video retention, and/or CVR (and soon Arlo Smart). So no, you won't need to upgrade your account if you merely want the camera to remain powered full time
Yes, you can create zones when plugged in. You also get the 3 second lookback feature
