Display looks like a full screen multicolored

Why do I sometimes get recording display that looks like a full screen milticolored curtain?  Additionally some times the lower screen is solid green.   How can I fix?

That all tends to be an issue with signal strength and/or quality. How far is the camera from the base and are there any wireless devices near either the base or camera that use the 2.4GHz band? Can you bring the camera closer to the base for testing?
