I don’t know why Arlo will not allow you to use your own notification sound for alerts on the system. Don’t tell me it’s technologically impossible, because it’s not. They now give you access to only three different sounds. We need access to all of our sounds on the phone, like other apps allow.

iOS 17.2 beta has a setting so you can change this back. Hopefully that will be released by Apple soon.

I have never seen this feature implemented in the Apple devices using arlo, you only get the tri-tone with no option for change.
iOS 17 update changed the tri-tone to something that you cannot hear so makes arlo app push notifications useless, then arlo stopped the email notifications to rub the salt in.
