Just bought a 3 pack of Arlo Pro 2 cameras and base station. It included a cable with micro/usb ends but not the AC adapter. Will the batteries charge by using any adapter?

Not necessarily. I would return to the store and ask them for the charger from another set. Swap the system if needed.
