Hello. I am considering buying a single Arlo Pro 2 for indoor use. I would use an iPad as the monitor.
Is it possible to disable the video on the camera periodically from the iPad without losing the audio? Sometimes I just need it to act as an old-school audio-only baby-monitor.
Thanks in advance.
Best wishes,
mcquarrie1

The Arlo Baby camera comes closest to what you're looking for. None of the others support that sort of capability.

Thank you for responding. Can you be specific? Does the Baby Camera allow me to disable the video feed but keep the audio?

mcquarrie1,
With Arlo Baby you can enable the "Always Listening" feature so that audio will play in the background even if the app is minimized. Take a look here: How do I enable or disable the Always Listening feature on Arlo Baby?
