A Google search just says that this was a bug that should be fixed now, but I can't see the modes tab with my Galaxy Note 2 tablet. Is reinstalling the app every time you want to use it actually the only solution?

I logged out and logged back in and now I have the 'Modes' tab back, but I'm just kind of disappointed in my experience with Arlo so far.

Look in the web client, and see if it appears there.  If it does, then perhaps try rebooting the tablet.
