Can a friend add a device from app

I am a "shared access friend" on my bosses account with admin permissions.  He wants me to add and change camera's as needed on his properties.  My app doesn't have the (+) add device button.   His does, but mine doesn't.  Can only the primary account holder log in add a device?  I hope not as that is a shame since we have properties in different states and it's not possible to physically have him on site to do so.

Yes.  Anything you add is in your account.  You could share back to him, but that really doesn't make sense if they are his cameras.  Also, you'd need to subscribe  (and pay) from your account.

He'll need to give you his account username and password so you can onboard for him.  Afterwards he can change the password.
