Can I use a ‘standard’ 1amp charger with a ‘standard ‘ usb cable to continuously power the Arlo Pro 2 cameras?

Maybe but I doubt it. Most chargers are 2A devices and the camera may well need the extra current.

I would stick with the official Arlo charger\micro usb power cable because if you don't for one you will void your waranty and second I have read some mixed reviews on 3rd party chargers\micro usb power cables.
