Camera died & tried charging. But camera is getting really hot & nothing happens when pressing sync.

Hi all,
After my camera being flat for a while I tried to charge it. The battery is fine and charges like normal, we put it in one of our other cameras and it works. But the camera itself gets very hot when on charge and nothing happens when pressing the sync button.
Any ideas?

Sounds like a failed camera to me (assuming the charger works normally with your other cameras). 

If it is still connected to the base when you insert a charged battery, then you could use it for a while - but you'd need to swap batteries with another camera every time you need to charge it.
