I want to use continous power on my outdoor Arlo Pro 2 cameras. I currently have them mounted using the Wassenstein outdoor mount. I have read that in order for the power cable to work, you have to remove the plastic nut on the mount. How have others got this to work. Are there better alternatives? Thanks.

Since you already have the mounts, just remove that huge lock nut and run down to your local hardware store. Peruse the 1/4"-20 nuts available and choose the smallest one you can find.
