I noticed that my Arlo shows up under Networks in the internet.  This is concerning.  I don't know how to make it invisible or delete it out of there as I am concerned about hackers.

If this id is the name of the camera in the app you can edit the name in the camera settings.
Where are you seeing the detail on the internet?

The VMB4500 (like all Arlo bases/smarthubs) creates a closed wifi network that is used to connect to the cameras.

There is no way to configure this network - so you cannot hide it, and of course it is essential, so you cannot delete it.

Hiding it wouldn't stop a hacker, but some have complained that it makes it impossible to conceal the fact the Arlo is in use from casual observers.
