Arlo pro I can hear but microphone message keeps saying "connection failed"

New to the Arlo Pro 2 and it is working fine execpt the microphone function. I can hear but microphone message keeps saying "connection failed". Any ideas how to correct? I did check settings and all cameras have microphone feature turned on. thanks. Jim

Check the phone settings to ensure the app has permissions to use the mic.

thanks. I am using a Mac Book Pro so not sure how to check permissions on it but will look into it. Jim
