Arlo pro 2 stopped working after subscription ended

I have a 5 camera system with 2 Pro 1s, 2 Ultras and 1 Pro 2. A couple of days ago my 1 year subscription for the Ultras ran out, but in doing so it's taken my Pro 2 out of action. On the app I get the message "This device is inactive" and "A paid Arlo Smart subscription is required to activate the device".
I can't see a way to get the camera working without paying for a subscription when I shouldn't need one.
One thing that might be an issue is that I had to return a faulty camera a while back. So I guess my Arlo account has "seen" 6 different cameras associated with my account at some time or another. However this camera was removed and is nowhere to be seen in any device list. I only have 5 cameras active in my device list.
Is there any way I can get the camera working again?

Start by removing and resyncing the camera.
