Arlo pro 2 Geo fencing and schedule

I am getting extremely frusterated with the features of turning this on and off. I started with the geofencing along and it would not update when I come or go and wont change armed or disarmed until I go back into the app itself which defeats the purpose of this. I then kept it as geofencing option but changed it to the schedule and that still will not update it to armed at 730 like i told it to on the schedule. Very disappointed with the product at this point as it is not a security system at all if it is not turning on when I am gone. Please help!!! all updates have been done and I am using Iphone 8plus

Until Arlo fixes the problem, there is a work around if you are willing to do a bit of work. The apps “life 360” and “iftt” are free. You have to sign up for both. Iftt can then trigger your geofencing armed and disarmed as desired. If you want I can give more details.
