Hi Guys
My Arlo 2 Pro , in which I attached a outdoor secure mount , the mount is rusting despite being under eaves
I can imagine only tiny amounts of water may have come from the rain
But im kind shock why its rusting if its an outdoor mount

Especially when you see the price for a replacement. You are not the first one to have this problem.

Thin chrome plating just isn’t a great rust inhibitor. My mounts are rusting also. This week I even found rust on some chrome plated closet poles I have inside my dry, but unheated, workshop on the second floor. The only moisture they have ever been exposed to has been condensation when temps and humidity rise.
