Hi all, I am located in Australia and I have 2 sets of arlo cameras, 1 set is located in Singapore and 1 set is located in Australia with me. Each set has its own base station as well. I have had absolutely no issues until 5 days ago, when I suddenly could no longer use the push-to-talk function on the Singapore cameras - the mic simply refused to connect, it would say “connecting...” and just stay that way forever. However, I can still use push-to-talk on the Australian cameras. My family in Singapore tried everything, resetting the base station and cameras, turning it off and on again, deleting and reinstalling the arlo app and switching mic functions on and off but nothing works. However, they can access the mic and use the push-to-talk function on the Singapore cameras but are unable to do so with the Australian cameras. Essentially, we seem to only be able to access the mic/push-to-talk function on the cameras in the same country as us. I have called arlo customer support and the lady who took my call tried her best but she could not help me and said she would follow up with me over email. I would really appreciate it if anyone who has experienced this same geographical restriction and managed to solve it would please share their solution! I don’t understand why this is suddenly an issue as, up until 5 days ago, I have been accessing push-to-talk on the Singapore cameras for 1.5 years with no issues. If no one has a solution, I would really appreciate it admin would please escalate this issue and help me try to solve it. Thank you!
