after 30 day trial email notifcations have stopped, is this normal and do you have to upgrade to start receiving again?

What 30 day trial - the Smart trial? If so, that's been a problem reported before. I don't recall the solution so use the Contact Support link at the bottom here and then again on the new page to open a case about this.
