Arlo Pro 2 will not connect to base when battery is removed and plugged in.

Camera will connect to base when battery is installed and plugged in but will not connect to base when battery is removed and plugged in.  Instructions says this should work??

@Jimbe,

two questions - is the ac adapter working normally? 2) Are you using the Arlo ac adapter and cable?
