Hi

Has anyone got any ideas on how to get the night vision better on my Arlo Pro 2 cameras? The Arlo baby is brilliant but the pro 2 will only catch a cold at night.

They are expensive cams considering how poor it seems.
I've attached a clip.

It may be a bit of IR is washing out the camera ( reflecting off the two walls/glass )

The PIR detects out to 25ft, the IR illumination reaches about the same.

Or  an external light could help

It might be that the red IR LEDS are too bright for where you have it placed, either turn down the brightness, or black tape over some of the LEDS.

I wouldn't cover any of the LEDs - they're weak enough as it goes. These are battery-operated cameras and the LEDs would run the battery down faster if brighter. If you're really concerned, use external lighting, 850nM or visible light. Also, concentrate on the actual area of interest, not the whole scene so the lighting is sufficient for that area.
