I would like to know if Arlo Pro 2 is compatible or not with Orbi system?

Thanks

It is compatible in that the Arlo Pro 2 base station can be plugged into either the router or the satelite via ethernet and will function correctly

Uh, as a beta tester under an NDA, aren't you supposed to not tell people you're a beta tester?

No, if I remember well, the focus of NDA is related on the beta content (App + Device).
Who I'm is not a secret. (I have read nothing about that in the NDA)
What I'm doing during the beta, Which is the beta device (include no reselling),, All discovering during the beta are a secret under the NDA.
Here I reveal nothing about that 😉 this is just a general compatibility question about a know system by the public..

Ok, I have understood the Arlo base is compatible with all type of routers.

But my question is "Can I connect directly the Arlo Pro 2 on my Orbi system? " If not, why?

No, because the Arlo HD, Arlo Pro and Arlo Pro 2 require the base station. Those cameras can only connect to a base station and that base station requires an ethernet connection

To be specific, the wireless cameras require the dedicated WPA2 connection to the base.  Then there's the firmware needed to set up the rest of the connection with the servers which is built into the base. These are not IP cameras.
